Introduction

There are many different conditions which are chronic, or complex pain problems in youth. For example, recurrent abdominal pain, back problems, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), headaches, or somatization.

When we have thoughts, feelings, and emotions or experience stress, the Mind Body Connection causes physical reactions in our body. Understanding the mind-body connection is key to understanding how different medical conditions contribute to chronic pain.
